The Adventure: Lifechanging Travel with Curt Anderson is a travel reality television show from Arrivals Club Productions. On set of the pilot (a two week shoot across various locations in Morocco), I was the on-set photographer and DIT. During the post-production process I edited both the sizzle and the pilot episode, which is now being pitched to networks.

I edit advertisements for Chubbies, a men's shorts and athletic-wear brand. Their brand is fun, spontaneous, and vibrant, so I utilize bright colors, exciting transitions, and dramatic speed ramps. They need video exports in different aspect ratios for use on everything from Youtube to Instagram to TikTok, so I’ve also quickly become adept at adjusting edits for cross-platform utilization. This work has taught me that branded promotional videos can be loads of fun while delivering a meaningful testimonial for a corporation. View work samples.

Originally an intern, I now serve as a general adviser for media production conducted by the Public Education Project, an initiative of the Society for History in the Federal Government. I developed and edited the pilot video and several consequent educational videos for PEP Productions. I also edited Facebook ads for their website and video series and upon the launch of their new website recut their video series with their new branded colors and fonts and developed graphic assets for future videos. Claire's Place Foundation (CPF) is a non-profit organization that supports children with cystic fibrosis. Following brand guidelines, I edit social media spots primarily for Instagram to highlight partners, promote events, and grow awareness, often using animated title sequences to engage users with fast-paced content. Designed a website and provided content guidance for Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist, Lucia Lin. View the site at lucialin.com.

Editor for vlogger Larissa Rivera, designing all her graphics and branding and producing one video per week. Over the year I have been her editor her channel grew from 100 subscribers to nearly 2,000. Larissa writes, "Lila has been incredible to work with! She is very kind and is very open to feedback and will make any adjustment you may see needed! She has always been on time, even if I send her the footage with less than a week before upload day!"

Editor for The Garden of Voices podcast, a podcast theatre troupe. Developed sound design for episodes as well as for live performances.

Edited for a variety of departments across the university, always following brand guidelines. Created a 10 minute film that promotes the Adelphi University Honors College. This video is shown to potential students and their families at each interview for the Honors College. Edited a video about the 2019 Alice Hoffman Young Writers Retreat. Continued to edit tutorials for the the AdelphiTech Youtube channel. Edited the Fall 2020 restart video and an ad for the new mobile app.

Interned at Giaronomo Productions. Work involved dialoguing films for prep, selecting and cutting together clips from dailies for the editors, and shadowing other employees in their day to day work.

Produced and edited Wayward, an independent short film written and directed by Stephanie Saavedra. Additionally cut a trailer and spot for the film.

Worked with award-winning filmmaker Michael Rossato-Bennett as an editor on his upcoming feature documentary that accompanies his successful Kickstarter campaign "Brian's Songs: Love, Friendship, a Dream... and ALS."

I collaborated with Academy Award nominated director Joan Stein Schimke to script and edit several hours of interviews and b-roll down to a short film that premiered at the Workers Unite Film Festival in 2019.

I worked with the executive director to develop a social media challenge to promote the foundation, brainstorming ideas for the challenge and how to promote it through Instagram, Vimeo, and Facebook. I edited several short promotional videos for Instagram and Facebook, filmed interviews, and created the how to video for the Alive Inside Challenge.

I perform daily maintenance of the school website through HTML coding and web design. I also follow university brand guidelines while designing banners to advertise campus events and designing print posters in Adobe Illustrator. I also do photography for and manage the Adelphi University Technology Instagram. View the Student Worker of the Month news article. After graduating I worked to migrate and reconfigure content for the newly designed website.

I filmed and produced the online livestream of a large range of Adelphi University sporting events.

As the advertising contractor for a local pet grooming and boarding establishment, I designed print advertisements and coupons for newspapers, wrote, filmed, and edited video advertisements, and created and managed social media accounts.
